P1NGP0NG
P1ngP0ng is an experiment in design collaboration. In this form of design discourse, 16 different designers were invited to participate in an anonymous poster-ping-pong and were asked to create a poster in pairs on the theme of "Fun & Games" without communicating with each other verbally or in writing. This was not only about fun posters, but also about the question of whether it is possible to communicate about design when the only means of communication left is design itself. The results of this collaboration, as well as the evaluation of the participants' survey afterwards, clearly show: Yes, designing can serve as a means of communication and drive an intuitive, visual discourse. The lack of predetermined hierarchy, through anonymisation and the merging of chaos and rationality, led to a creative, uninhibited and visual discourse in design, about design. P1ngP0ng served as a kick-off for the continuation of the project and further explorations of design collaboration. To be found at: @fortuna_grafik on Instagram.
